inveigled

Word of the day:

inveigle: in-VAY-guhl; verb-transitive [_ DP]
  1. to win over by wiles
  2. Persuade (someone) to do something by means of deception or flattery.
  3. Gain entrance to (a place) by using such methods
I learned this word today and I LOVE it.  Feel free to ignore the  [_ DP] in the definition.  It's my nerd-addition to remind myself of a linguistic-y thing.  I could tell you, but you'd fall asleep in the middle and drool on your keyboard and then you'd blame me for both the keyboard shaped marks on your face and the water damage to your keyboard and we'd all probably be better off if we avoided that.
