I spent my day wandering a couple of towns on the coast. I had breakfast at the queen of tarts, which was in my 36 hours book. I had a lovely scone and porridge.
Then I took the train to Dunlaogherie which has two piers that create a cove for the ships. There's a little lighthouse at the end of the one pier. I walked out to the end of the pier. It was freezing cold and windy by the water. As soon as you aren't sheltered by buildings the wind in Ireland is really biting.
I also went to a little town called Dalkey. They have a couple of castles and a big hill you can walk up. I walked the hill and saw gorgeous views of the water.
