Day 13

On day 13 we packed and prepared to go to Edinburgh. We met up with a collection of Jeff's friends at the Kings Cross train station. (Side note: the station is currently under construction and so Platform 9 3/4 is not available for my viewing or picture taking.) The train ride to Edinburgh was slightly ridiculous. We were delayed at multiple points until we reached a town about one hour from Edinburgh. At this point we sat waiting for a good long time and then they announced that our train would be backtracking to Newcastle where we would change to the train which was following us to Edinburgh. We arrived about 3 hours late to Edinburgh and then commenced the hike through the city to find our hostel. Which had the worst bed I've ever slept on. But at least we made it. Today's picture is of my train riding outfit which features my current favorite sweater. You'll be seeing a lot more of it.
