This was Sunday, our last day in Edinburgh. Annie had found out about a food festival happening near Holyrood Palace. Holyrood is the queen's residence in Scotland. The festival was at the foot of what is called Arthur's seat- a big hill. Beautiful scenery. The festival was fantastic. I sampled so many cheeses and olive oils and balsamic vinegars and just really amazing food. We bought brie and cheddar to bring home and loaf of delicious bread. And we ate these fantastic cheeseburgers for lunch.
We rode the train home in the afternoon, a much less eventful ride than the first one. Very glad to be back in London and settled for a few days.
